Overview

Chiropractic is a health care approach that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure, primarily the spine and nervous system, and the ability to function. People seek chiropractic care for many conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, automobile trauma,  sports injuries and general well-being.

Evaluation

A chiropractic office visit begins with a consultation, a complete health history and a thorough examination. The examination consists of the following tests: orthopaedic, reflexes, muscular, range of motion, neurological and functional. Objective studies such as x-rays, CT scan, or MRI may be determined necessary after the exam reveals a working diagnosis. If an objective study is necessary, take this recommendation seriously.
